Measure BUS15 – Local Link and Demand Responsive Transport - needs to be urgently prioritised, particularly for car-dependent estates built outside towns in the past 30 years. Enniskerry, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue, Newtown Mt Kennedy, and others all need frequent "shopper"-style bus services to help revitalise the towns by making them places for people to walk, dine, and spend time rather than for parking cars and acting as rat-runs.
