I live on Fortfield Park and have several comments to make re your plan.
1 - Parking Fortfield Rd/Pk - delays to buses due to parking - some additional parking occurs for 2 x 20 min times around the local school opening and closing which may cause some delay. However removing on-street parking on these road is a disproportionate response with very limited overall improvement in bus time.
2. Removal of on-street parking will increase traffic speeds as a result and there is an easily observed high volume of children who walk to local schools on this road this will also increase the risk of accidents as a result of increased speeds
3. Existing vehicles parked on street will need to be accommodated by residents and this will result in significant remodelling of the road frontage or use of adjoining streets to the detriment of other residents parking.
