12. Public Transport (Bus, Light & Heavy Rail)

Any one of a number of companies coming out of stealth mode in the Share Mobility Autonomous RoboTaxi's business could drop 5000 plus RoboTaxi's in Ireland in the very near future. One car manufacture already have thousands of vehicles here now waiting for an over the air update to make them fully Autonomous and they will be legally allowed on Irish roads by UNECE/EU directives and Article 16 of EU right to trade will not allow the NTA or National government of the day stop them or prevent them from trading in Ireland under EU rules. So the question is please ask yourself? What form of transport when not walking, cycling, or using E-mobility is the general public really going to want to use? Train? Tram? Bus? I don't think so! A door-to-door service is what people desire and will demand!
