Proposed National Maximum Taxi Fares
Pursuant to section 24 of the Taxi Regulation Acts 2013 and 2016, the Authority proposes to make a new maximum fares order, to replace the current maximum fares order, detailing the maximum fare that may be charged by a driver of a taxi.
Proposed Small Public Service Vehicle (Cashless Payment Facility) Regulations
Pursuant to section 20 and section 48 of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013 (No. 37 of 2013), the Authority proposes to require drivers of taxis to carry a functioning cashless payment facility whilst operating and to accept cashless payments for any journey.
